Role Overview:
The Senior Business Manager role is a pivotal leadership position responsible for driving sales, profitability, and overall business growth within a designated region. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a team of sales professionals, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. The Senior Business Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including design, operations, and marketing, to achieve business objectives and enhance market presence. This role directly impacts revenue generation, customer acquisition, and brand reputation within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the assigned region.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to maximize their potential.
- Oversee the P&L for the assigned region, ensuring effective cost management and profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations, to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, building strong relationships and fostering customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, providing insights into regional performance and market dynamics.
- Manage retail sales operations within the region, ensuring optimal staffing, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Proven leadership skills in managing and motivating sales teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the retail sales environment, including sales processes, customer service, and visual merchandising.
- Experience in the interior design or home furnishings industry is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
