Role Overview:

The Associate General Manager - Business will serve as a pivotal leader in Mumbai, responsible for driving the end-to-end P&L and operational excellence of the region. This role involves orchestrating cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and project execution, to ensure seamless customer experiences and aggressive revenue growth. You will work closely with senior leadership to translate corporate strategy into actionable regional plans, ensuring that the business remains agile and competitive in the fast-paced home interiors landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the regional P&L, ensuring healthy margins and sustainable revenue growth by optimizing operational costs and maximizing conversion rates.

- Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share and strengthen HomeLane's presence in the Mumbai territory.

- Lead and mentor large, multi-disciplinary teams to foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and customer-centricity.

- Streamline business operations by identifying bottlenecks in the design-to-delivery lifecycle and implementing scalable process improvements.

- Collaborate with central marketing and product teams to localize campaigns and ensure that regional feedback informs the broader product roadmap.

Required Skillset:


- Demonstrated ability to manage complex P&L responsibilities and drive financial performance in a high-growth, consumer-facing environment.

- Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies that balance aggressive volume targets with long-term brand equity.

- Proven track record of leading large teams and managing diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, operational-heavy industry.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions regarding market expansion and operational efficiency.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of navigating high-pressure environments and influencing cross-functional partners.

- A postgraduate degree from a premier business school is preferred, complemented by 10 to 15 years of professional experience in business development or general management roles.

- Ability to thrive in an on-site, high-intensity work environment, demonstrating agility and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
