Primary Responsibilities: The Marketing Communication Manager works under the management of the Global Customer Excellence Director and is responsible of a determined geographical area, corresponding to a group of countries or to a region. Within his/her territory, - He/She is a key partner that ensures the communication approach starting from the strategy and up to implementation in line with key business drivers & growth - He/She manages the Communications teams and is responsible for setting up operational communication plans with clear goals, actions and results - As Project Leader for the Product Strategic Committee, he/she defines with Marketing and Sales counterparts (are they GMs, VP Sales or Area Sales Managers, depending on the local organizations), the strategy to promote our products and brands : - Defines strategies to support our products and commercial brands, thus the business growth - Defines the communication approach - online & offline- based on segmented customers & customer personas - Defines & prioritize communication channels (online & offline) in line with the strategy and business growth - Prioritizes communications projects and is accountable for project deliverables & results - Defines promotional communications budget and is accountable for budget follow-up & execution in line with global guidelines - Accordingly, he/she validates and controls the implementation of the local communications action plans, while assuring integration of corporate communications actions decided at the BU Level. - Member of the Communications GMT (Global Management Team) he/she participates actively to global projects (Branding strategy, Downstream approach, Budget monitoring, creation of added value communications concept, .) - He/She is a business expert (media relations, events.) and, as such, provides support to communication team. - He/she manages a team composed of several persons (Communication Managers and local coordinators) and is responsible for people development and talent management. He/she manages external parties as vendors, event planners, agencies, other communication 3rd parties. - He/She - Promotes a solid "customer service" mindset (regarding internal or external clients) - Provides team with a clear annual roadmap and operational communication plan - Monitor the implementation of the local annual communication plan - Helps in defining each associated local communications plan budget & control, and its alignment with forecasts - Delivers regular guidance and advice to the team in order to improve their efficiency; fosters best practice across countries - Provides their team an operational support when needed - Ensures the transfer of knowledge to the team and develop their skills through tools, methodologies and trainings. - He/she may ensures the complementary missions of: - Brand Communications for supporting the "downstream approach" (if his/her cluster is concerned) - In subs, he/she may ensure a local relay for Internal Communications actions in close connection with the Internal Communications team, Human Resources and General Manager - Controls the results of communication efforts (ROI)Promotes the communication Mid-Term-Plan initiatives, by encouraging the "one team spirit" through promotion of daily collaboration within the team - Produces or provides content to support local coordinators with journalists or other targeted audience - Depending on the topics, organizes Cluster Communications seminars (annual, bi-annual, ...) with teams; involved in the preparation and organization of Global Communications Seminar Competencies: - Leadership -Strong critical thinking skills with excellent judgment and problem-solving skills. MBA is a plus - EXPERIENCE: 10 years of experience in the Communications/Marketing field with demonstrated abilities to manage both offline and online communication strategies; demonstrated experience in digital marketing and social media strategy in a Business-to-Business environment - Exceptional verbal and written communications skills particularly for offline or social/ digital media - Excellent research and proofreading skills to ensure all materials are high quality and accurate - Leadership skills are necessary for directing staff and overseeing projects - Self-starter, self-motivated, comfort operating with strategic direction and autonomy to deliver results - Proven efficient team management & people development - Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced matrix environment - Proficient command of English and Hindu (others are a plus) - Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals - Excellent analytical and observation skills Proficient in MS Office, familiarity with design software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign..) and content management systems (PIM, DAM, CRMs - eg Microsoft Dynamics) Miscellaneous: - Reports to: Global Customer Excellence Director - Supervisory responsibilities: 10 employees - Status: exempt - Internal relations: All employees of HM.CLAUSE and its subsidiaries - External relations: Agencies, designers, web development companies - Travel Requirements: 20 to 25%.
