
As an HRBP for HT Digital Streams, you will be the strategic partner for our digital publishing workforce. You will own the entire employee life cycle for a massive scale of 800+ employees, ensuring that talent management aligns with the rapid evolution of the digital news industry. Your goal is to bridge the gap between business objectives and employee experience through data-driven insights and proactive engagement.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs) -
1. Employee Life Cycle & Engagement
- End-to-End Management: Oversee the journey from seamless onboarding and induction to structured exit interviews.
- Career Pathing: Map out clear growth trajectories for employees, ensuring they understand the opportunities available within the digital ecosystem.
- Engagement Initiatives: Design and execute "Connect Sessions" to gauge pulse, boost morale, and foster a culture of transparency.
2. Performance & Reward Management
- PMS Ownership: Drive the annual and mid-year performance management cycles.
- Implementation: Facilitate normalization meetings and ensure to record the objective performance rating.
- Feedback Culture: Ensure every employee receives timely, constructive feedback and manage the seamless disbursement of appraisal letters.
3. Stakeholder Management & Data Insights
- Functional Partnership: Act as a consultant to Functional Heads (stakeholders), providing them with real-time data regarding team health, attrition, and resource allocation.
- Strategic Shaping: Influence leaders by showcasing how HR initiatives shape the future of the employee life cycle at HT Digital.
- Grievance Redressal: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complex employee relations issues and maintaining a healthy work environment.
4. Induction & Integration
- Leadership Connect: Plan and facilitate induction meetings between new hires and Functional Heads to ensure immediate alignment with departmental goals.
- Continuous Learning: Identify skill gaps through interaction and coordinate with the L&D team to bridge them.
Candidate Profile:
Experience & Skills
- Experience: 4-7 years of experience in HRBP roles, preferably within Digital Media, E-commerce, or fast-scaling Tech industries.
- Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions and influence stakeholders.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to manage expectations of senior Functional Heads while being approachable to the ground-level workforce.
- Conflict Resolution: High emotional intelligence to handle grievances and sensitive performance discussions.
Education - MBA in HR or a related field from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute.
