Role & responsibilities:

Job Description : Financial Controller (AGM/DGM)

Department : Corporate Accounts

Location : Head Office, Okhla Phase III, New Delhi

Industry Preference : Thermal Power

Role Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to lead financial reporting,

compliance, and control functions. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial statements, regulatory compliance, and high-quality management reporting while supporting strategic finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IND-AS

- Manage and coordinate statutory audits, ensuring timely closure

- Ensure filing of financial statements with ROC in compliance with regulatory requirements

- Preparation and presentation of monthly MIS reports

- EBITDA reporting and variance analysis

- Provide support to the Corporate Finance team with respect to documentation and financial data

- Deliver accurate and timely management reporting for decision-making

- Strengthen financial controls and ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures

Eligibility Criteria :

Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience : Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and control roles

Industry Exposure : Experience in the Thermal Power sector will be an added advantage

Key Skills :

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IND-AS) and financial reporting

- Expertise in MIS preparation, financial analysis, and reporting

- Proven experience in managing large-scale accounting operations

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities

- Mandatory proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Excel Preferred candidate profile
