Job Title: National Manager - Innovation and Replenishment Processes
Function: Logistics Excellence, Supply Chain
Location: Support Centre, Bangalore
Reports To: Head - Logistics Excellence
Role Summary:
- As the National Manager - Innovation and Replenishment Processes, you will be part of the Logistics Excellence Team, which drives transformation across the supply chain network.
- This role focuses on creating and deploying innovative solutions-both digital and physical-to enhance logistics performance and develop agile, efficient replenishment processes. The role balances long term strategy with near-term execution to improve service levels and cost to serve across channels and product categories.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Innovation in Logistics Processes and Assets
- Identify, conceptualize, and pilot digital solutions for logistics (e.g., mobile/web applications, visibility tools, Smart tracking solutions, IoT, etc.)
- Explore and implement innovative physical assets (e.g. plastic pallets, cost effective ILS sheets, cost effective crates) to enhance logistics performance and sustainability
- Build strong business cases for innovation initiatives and lead cross functional implementation
2. Replenishment Process Transformation:
- Analyze and redesign replenishment processes to improve responsiveness, efficiency, and agility across the supply chain
- Develop differentiated service models tailored to product, geography, and channel needs (e.g., faster response for premium SKUs, platinum customers)
- Partner with planning, warehousing, transportation, and operations teams to align replenishment strategies with business priorities
3. Strategy and Capability Development:
- Drive the long-term vision and roadmap for innovation and replenishment within the logistics function
- Build frameworks and capability toolkits for scaling successful pilots across geographies and categories
- Benchmark global and cross industry practices to identify relevant innovations and practices
4. Performance and Cost Optimization:
- Continuously monitor service levels, and replenishment costs to identify improvement opportunities
- Deploy KPIs and dashboards to measure success of innovations and process changes
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred
- 6+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain transformation, or operations excellence, preferably in FMCG, retail, or ecommerce sectors
- Proven experience in designing and scaling logistics innovations (digital tools or physical assets)
- Exposure to replenishment models, supply planning, or distribution strategies
- Strong analytical and project management skills
