Job Summary
Shall be responsible for driving the Water Stewardship program across HCCB.
Objectives:
Programs related to 3-Rs [reduce (water efficiency inside the plant), recycle (water reuse/recycling inside the plant) and recharge (water balance/artificial recharge programs, primarily outside the plant]
Water related requirements as water supply assessment / Source Water Protection to support business continuity Water Neutrality Assessments in and outside the boundary
Key Responsibilities:
- Water Stewardship Improvement: Provide leadership in the area of water stewardship including minimizing water risks, robustness to the source water protection and water
- Water Neutrality programs: This may include co-ordinating (with external vendors) and carrying out water related assessment of various units.
- Reporting: Provides timely and accurate water stewardship performance data, as required
- Training: Delivers targeted training programs to build capability to achieve water stewardship goals.
- Stakeholder partnership: Provides tactical support in the timely resolution of water/environmental issues by utilizing all available system and external resources.
Educational Requirements:
- M.Sc, M.S, M.Tech /Ph.D (hydrology/hydrogeology) with specialization in water, environmental, sustainability
Experience Requirements:
- 12-15 years in the field of hydrology, watershed management, Hydrological and related studies, (examples include: groundwater studies, assessment of groundwater resources, groundwater quality studies, and groundwater re-charge; water supply and assessment studies).
- Surface water source vulnerability and assessment of storage in reservoirs and upstream river projects and water replenishment design and water neutrality strategy and implementation, Industrial experience is preferred
