Objective:

Job Responsibilities:
- This position was created considering increasing size of opportunity and risk at sites.
- Analyze transportation costs, warehousing expenses, and other logistics-related expenditures.
- Analyze logistics costs and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
- Partner implementation of strategic ECRS, Shipping Automation and TMS DMS Integrations projects
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for the logistics function.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements.
- Manage logistics budgets (~ INR 665 Cr) and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Identify inefficiencies in logistics and supply chain processes and propose improvements.
- Engage with shipping and RTM teams to seek RE, MME and detailed reasoning of variances against BP and PY
- SNOP opportunities around production scheduling driving SLE & AU, lane deviation, direct dispatches
- Mitigating risk of inventory ageing through RMPM Weekly Connect, Daily ESP for FG, Spares IUT
- Zero based BP design
- Partner in Commercial negotiations and cost benchmarking / incentive framework

Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- 6+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with a focus on financial analysis, cost management, and process improvement.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in managing logistics budgets, financial reporting, and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and distribution management systems (DMS) would be beneficial.
