To lead and manage the finance function for the assigned zone by driving financial performance, ensuring governance, supporting commercial decision-making, and partnering with sales & supply chain teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Partnering:
- Act as a finance partner to Zonal Vice President and commercial teams.
- Evaluate trade schemes, discounts, and promotional effectiveness.
- Support decision-making on pricing, distributor ROI, and channel strategies.
- Enable data-driven decisions to improve market share and profitability.
3. Commercial & Trade Finance:
- Monitor trade spends utilization and ROI
- Ensure adherence to pricing policies and discount structures.
- Control leakages in schemes, claims, and distributor settlements.
- Drive productivity of assets like coolers and market investments. (DME)
4. Credit & Risk Management:
- Oversee distributor credit limits, collections, and outstanding receivables.
- Manage Channel Finance programs with banks/NBFCs.
- Minimize NPAs and overdue risks.
- Ensure strong credit governance and compliance with company policies.
5. Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and audit requirements.
- Manage statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.).
- Lead internal and external audits for the zone.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
6. Supply Chain & Cost Control:
- Partner with logistics and plant teams to optimize freight, warehousing, and distribution costs.
- Monitor cost per case and drive efficiency initiatives.
- Support inventory management and working capital optimization.
7. Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop the zonal finance team.
- Build a high-performance culture with strong governance.
- Drive capability building in finance and cross-functional teams.
