Position: Process Expert - Finance
Department: Finance
Reporting to: Business Excellence Head, India
What is the role?
Finance Process expert responsibility is to manage, improve and support our end-to-end Finance processes. He/She will be a center of excellence offering direction and support to areas like Taxation, Credit & collection, Accounting. He/she will interact
with all business process experts across on a day-to-day basis, to develop process and interact with many different functions' owners. He/ She will be a part of a well performing, diverse finance department with a very positive atmosphere. It is hugely challenging but immensely rewarding.
Job Profile:
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize & lead Finance Accounting (Purchases to Pay (PtP), Order to Cash (OtC), General Ledger (GL) projects & tool implementations.
- Able to coordinate ERP system and tool related changes and upgrades.
- Able to identify, prioritize and implement E2E process improvements using CIP (continuous improvement) tools & best suited technologies.
- Be the connector between global, region and entities ensuring adherence to global standards while keeping local requirements in mind.
- Consistently challenge the status quo, act as change agent in the MO.
- Be a sparring partner for the FBPs, SSC Head & SSC employees/MO Accounting employees by linking business decisions to accounting processes and by supporting in improving agreed services to the entities in scope.
- Ability to influence finance & non-finance stakeholders and successfully communicate at any level of the organization.
- Effectively lead process change initiatives, thereby improving the productivity of Finance

What are the essential knowledge, experiences and skills you need for this role?
- CA or equivalent experience required from finance background
- Knowledge and experience of SAP/ERP system and implementation
- Leadership and Strong stakeholder management
- Six Sigma certified
- Minimum 9+ general work experience of having process management exposure
- Proficiency in connecting dots and have a continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products (heavy emphasis on Excel and Power Point)
- Analytical and data modeling skills.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills to all external/internal customers, peer groups, and upper management
- Strong Project planning and implementation skills (ability to manage timelines and multiple tasks simultaneously)
- Passionate team player with a strong desire to advance within the company
- Ability to drive commitment, integrity and innovation within a team
- Ability to coordinate workload within a shift/team
