Position: Lead Control - Tower

Department: Operations

Reporting to: Manager- Transportation

Key Responsibilities & goals :

- Centrally manages transportation productivity KPIs for Hilti Operations and drive end to end program management and new initiatives for Transportation function

- Ensuring transport quality and controlling of delivery performance (Carrier Reliability) for various journeys defined for Hilti India for eg. Fleet, Sales or Repair

- Track and drive for continuous improvement across all defined Goals/KPI/metrics

- Business Process Improvement (BPM) across Supply Chain Processes

- Deep dive into key areas to arrive at actionable insights with an intense data driven approach

- Responsible for Pan-India escalations from Sales/other teams related transport management through active coordination with carrier partners and internal Teams

- Provide inputs to Regional/Central Teams on current trend/issues in region

- Be a key participant in network review and capacity assessment exercises

- Timely resolution of customer complaints (Service Requests) through coordination with CCH (Customer Complaint Handling Team), carriers and internal teams

- Implement solutions for specific customer needs (job-site delivery, same-day, etc.)

- Ensure Legal Compliance such as E-way bill part B etc.

- Responsible for Proof of Delivery reconciliation across all delivery legs via transport partners

- Responsible for cost management for Transportation with carriers and finance team

- Participate in Monthly review meetings with carriers

- People manager leading a team of 2+ members

- Build a culture of ownership and empowerment within Team.

- Develop, mentor and motivate the team for better efficiency and best results.

What are the essential knowledge, experiences and skills you need for this role?

- 4-5 years' Experience in Supply Chain - preferably Transportation & Logistics/Project Management.

- MBA from Tier 1/2 institutes

- Stakeholder management

- Knowledge of IT including SAP and Microsoft Office

- Must be able to work independently and as well as a team player

- Strong analytical, conceptualization and problem-solving skills

- Process Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- High sense of accountability and ownership; Self-motivated
