Here's a bit more. - This role is very cross functional and has elements of both an EA (usually no directs, working only for the CEO) and COO (work on critical items important to the CEO related to culture, strategy, customers - whatever it takes) Key Day to Day responsibilities: - Ensure the CEO is prioritizing the right things - Help complete priority items for the CEO to the desired level of quality - Keep the CEO accountable for commitments, while helping keep reports accountable for results - Amplify and improve the CEO's communication. You would be in charge of tasks like running town halls, preparing speeches and prepping the CEO for leadership meetings - Help the CEO level up the executive team. Sometimes that means nudging direct reports/acting on behalf of your boss - You are comfortable with being the center without having a lot of ego in it.
