The functional consultant is responsible for implementing solutions that best suit the customer’s needs. As the front face to the customer, the functional consultant is responsible for providing inputs to project plans, and delivering on time with high quality. Understanding the customer needs, and implementing solutions that best suit the customer needs is key to success at this position.  Roles AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Essential Functions:  - Participate in requirements workshops and work with business users to identify business requirements, in order to develop an in-depth understanding of our business needs, create solutions to meet those needs and work closely with the team to implement those solutions  - Contribute to the development of project plans  - Develop test strategies, detailed test plans and guide the testing process  - Develop and maintain Invoice-to-Cash related business process and application documentation  - Function as a subject matter, process and technology expert to conduct end-user training   REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS  Education:  - Bachelor's or Master’s Degree (preferably from a top reputed university)   - Strong presentation and facilitation skills with small and large groups  - Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand Fortune 1000 client business processes and provide creative future state solutions  Experience:  - Minimum 3 of years of experience in functional consultant or business analyst or equivalent role  - Experience leading or collecting requirements, analyzing them and performing gap/fit analysis  - Experience contributing to project plan development and tracking the progress against the plans  - Experience with Invoice-to-Cash related business process is desirable  Critical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:  - Excellent communication and presentation skills  - Demonstrable organizational skills and detail oriented  - Proven problem solving and analytical skills  - Excellent team and interpersonal skills   - Strong initiative to drive the project from start to finish with minimal supervision  Nothing in this job description restricts management’s rights to assign or re-assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
