Hetero Drugs - Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager - Overseas Finance

Description: We are looking for a dynamic finance professional to lead overseas finance operations, partnering closely with international subsidiaries and JV stakeholders. This role requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate in a global, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking for overseas entities.

- Drive insights through variance analysis and scenario planning to support business decisions.

- Analyze cost structures, profitability, and business performance.

- Provide actionable recommendations to optimize margins and improve financial efficiency.

- Monitor and manage cash flows across subsidiaries and JVs.

- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks in global markets.

- Ensure timely financial closures, consolidation, and audits for international entities.

- Maintain adherence to statutory, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.

- Liaise with JV partners and overseas business teams to track performance and drive action plans.

- Ensure timely closure of key deliverables and alignment on financial goals.

- Conduct periodic reviews with subsidiaries and JV partners.

- Travel internationally to oversee operations, strengthen governance, and drive accountability.

Key Requirements:

- CA / CWA / MBA from Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes.

- 8-12 years of experience, with recent exposure to multinational organizations.

- Strong background in manufacturing, sales & marketing environments (pharma preferred).

- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, MS Excel, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

- Strong understanding of global finance operations, consolidation, and compliance.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
