Overview:
The person will be part of the FP&A team of finance and should offer excellent quantitative analysis and qualitative business judgement.
This individual will demonstrate well-reasoned insights on financial and strategic issues/decisions and exhibit the intellect and sound business judgment to make decisions in the best interest of the Company and the business.
Executing for results:
- Demonstrate a bias for results and persistently pursue the objectives.
- Be a strategic and analytical thinker with ability to focus on details and synthesize broad amount of information into actionable information for executives.
- Have the ability and the willingness to dive deep and understand the root cause of issues.
- Once issues have been identified, the person must communicate recommendations to senior leadership, exhibiting good judgment and decision-making capability.
- Once a decision is made, possess the ability to execute for desired results.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Insights & Dashboarding:
- Design and develop executive dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights for leadership decision-making.
- Translate complex financial data into meaningful visualizations and performance metrics.
Planning & Budgeting:
- Preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Monitor financial performance against budget and identify key variances.
Profit maximisation and Cost optimisation:
- Preparation of Lifetime profitability of products and segment wise P&L.
- Support cost optimization and revenue enhancement initiatives.
- Track performance for different business units and identify improvement areas.
Forecasting & Reporting:
- Monitor monthly financial results vs budget and forecasts.
- Continuously refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and predictability.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align revenue and expense reporting.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across business and financial data.
Eligibility Criteria for the Job:
Experience: Preferably 5+ years.
Education: Preferably MBA in Finance / CA.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong Understanding of NBFC/HFC sector.
- Should have ability to work with large volumes of data across systems and excel sheets.
- Strong expertise on FP&A is mandatory, especially in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, P&L analysis etc.
- Excellent finance and accounting skills.
- Experience in FP&A, business finance, or strategy roles preferred.
- Must be articulate while communicating.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Interpersonal acumen - The successful candidate will possess unquestionable personal and professional ethics and a sense of flexibility and initiative that are essential to the success of this role.
