Overview:
- The person will be part of the FP&A team of finance
- He/she should offer excellent quantitative analysis, qualitative business judgement
- This individual will demonstrate well-reasoned insights on financial and strategic issues/decisions. Exhibit the intellect and sound business judgment to make decisions in the best interest of the Company and the business.
Executing for results - Candidates must:
- demonstrate a bias for results and persistently pursue the objectives,
- be a Strategic and analytical thinker with ability to focus on details, synthesize broad amount of information into actionable information for executives.
- have the ability and the willingness to dive deep and understand the root cause of issues.
- Once issues have been identified, the person must communicate recommendations to senior leadership, exhibiting good judgment and decision-making capability.
- Once a decision is made, possess the ability to execute for desired results
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop dashboards to be used by the executive management team to provide insight into strategic decisions
- Engage in preparation of annual operating plan, monitoring variances and undertake control measure.
- Preparation of segmental P&L and performance for each business
- Identify opportunities to maximize profit through data mining, analytics, and automation
- Carry out Incentive calculations (including creating Framework, Automation etc.)
- Monitor monthly operating results against the budget. Improve forecasting.
- Close liaison with internal stake holders to align revenue and expenses reporting's.
Eligibility Criteria for the Job:
Experience: Preferably 5+ years
Education: Preferably MBA / CA
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong Understanding of NBFC/HFC sector
- Should know VBA
- Should have ability to work with large volumes of data across systems and excel sheets
- Strong expertise on FP&A is mandatory, especially in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, P&L analysis etc
- Excellent finance and accounting skills
- Sound understanding of Accounting and Financial Mathematics
- Must be articulate while communicating
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Interpersonal acumen - The successful candidate will possess unquestionable personal and professional ethics and a sense of flexibility and initiative that are essential to the success of this role
