Hero Housing Finance - Area Business Head - Construction Finance

Job Description:

- Good understanding with prior work experience in sourcing micro-construction finance loans up to Rs 5 crores.

- Identify and onboard real estate developers in affordable/regularised micro-markets.

- Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and channel partners.

- Achieve disbursement and revenue targets.

- Ensure proper legal, technical, and financial due diligence.

- Coordinate with legal and technical teams for approvals.

- Oversee loan documentation and compliance before disbursement.

- Monitor existing loan portfolio performance.

- Track project progress and utilization of funds.

- Identify early warning signals of stress or default.

- Conduct periodic client reviews.

- Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Skills Required:

- Strong understanding of construction finance / real estate lending.

- Knowledge of project feasibility and real estate market dynamics.

- Risk assessment and structured finance exposure.

- Relationship management and negotiation skills.

- Familiarity with NBFC regulations and lending norms.

Typical Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Marketing.

- MBA (Finance) or CA preferred.

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in NBFCs, banks, or housing finance companies.
