Job Title: Lead - Risk & Policy-LAP

Department: CRO Unit

Reporting To: Head-Risk & Policy-SME & CIF

Base Location: DLF DownTown, Gurugram

Role Description:

To undertake key tasks pertaining to end-to-end Risk Management for the LAP LOB, including working closely with all stakeholders like sales, credit, operations, compliance, finance, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for overall performance of the LAP portfolio, balancing growth with risk discipline

- Bouncing and delinquency management and ensuring Credit Cost for the product remain within budgeted numbers and are best in the industry

- Portfolio Monitoring & Asset Quality Management, including collateral quality and risk concentrations

- Preparation of Risk Decks and presenting the same to Senior Management

- Identifying business opportunities for risk-calibrated growth using historical portfolio trends and off-us data

- Formalizing sectoral risk appetite, understanding segment behavior and monitoring portfolio + new business inflow against the same

- Ensuring cross-functional collaboration across functions to build a strong and predictable book, including closely working with Sales, Credit, Legal, Technical, Collections, Litigation teams

- Carrying product and policy knowledge and being updated on industry level developments in the product, competition benchmarking and bringing that intelligence into our policies and processes

- Monitoring credit processes for ensuring strong verification processes & eligibility assessment methods

- Providing policy support to ensuring end-to-end automated/digital lending processes in the LOB

- Evaluating various partnerships, direct assignment and securitization transactions, including providing policy & risk related inputs and undertaking risk assessments as well as monitoring such portfolios

- Post disbursal monitoring including security documents, PDDs, ROC charge, CERSAI

- Ensuring compliance to regulatory guidelines and monitoring the same

- Hindsighting LAP loans, from credit/legal/collateral point of view to ensure compliance to laid down policies and processes

- Periodic revaluation of collaterals to assess security covers

- Managing the end-to-end Asset Held for Sale (AHS) process including security, maintenance, auction etc.

- Lead internal and external audits

- Anticipate impact on business when driving decisions to balance risk/reward without compromising portfolio quality levels.
