MIS & Reporting:
- Own daily, weekly, and monthly MIS for Collections (bucket-wise, product-wise, channel-wise).
Design and maintain dashboards covering:
- Delinquency trends
- Roll rates & flow rates
- Collection efficiency
- PTP performance
Agency/vendor performance:
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
Controls & Governance:
- Establish and monitor control frameworks for collections processes.
- Track adherence to collection policies, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify data gaps, process deviations, and control breaches; drive corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits with data, analysis, and documentation.
Data Management & Quality:
- Act as single point of accountability for collections data integrity.
- Reconcile data between source systems (LMS, CRM, agency systems).
- Automate MIS processes to reduce manual errors and TAT.
- Ensure version control and documentation of MIS logic and definitions.
Performance Monitoring & Insights:
- Analyze trends in delinquency, recovery, bounce, and write-offs.
- Provide actionable insights to improve productivity of field, tele calling, and digital channels.
- Track incentive metrics and productivity KPIs for in-house and outsourced teams.
- Support strategy teams with data for pilot analysis and policy changes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with Collections, Risk, Finance, IT, and Compliance teams.
- Coordinate with external collection agencies for performance and data submissions.
- Present insights and dashboards to leadership forums.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivots).
- Experience with MIS automation tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Understanding of LMS, Collections systems, and agency MIS.
- Data reconciliation and validation expertise.
Domain Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Collections lifecycle (early, mid, late stage).
- Knowledge of DPD buckets, roll rates, vintage analysis, and recovery metrics.
- Familiarity with RBI / regulatory guidelines related to collections (preferred).
Behavioral & Leadership Skills:
- High attention to detail and ownership mindset.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-solving and process improvement orientation.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 15-18 years of experience in Collections MIS, Controls, or Analytics.
- Prior experience in Bank / NBFC / Fintech / Collections agency preferred.
- Exposure to large-scale collections operations is a plus.
