ECP Payroll Specialist

Location: Hybrid - Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Gurgaon, Noida

Shift Timings: 2 PM - 11 PM IST

Job Overview:

We're looking for a highly experienced and meticulous ECP Payroll Specialist with 7-12 years of experience to join our team on a client contract. In this hybrid role, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for our Australian employees using SAP ECP. Your expertise will ensure accurate payroll calculations, timely reporting, and strict compliance with Australian labor laws and regulations. You'll also be key in supporting employees with payroll queries and collaborating with internal teams to enhance efficiency.


Key Responsibilities


Payroll Processing

- Execute the complete payroll cycle for Australian employees utilizing SAP ECP.

- Thoroughly review and validate payslips to guarantee accuracy in all payroll calculations.


Reporting and Analysis

- Generate precise gross-to-net and variance reports to pinpoint any discrepancies and ensure overall payroll accuracy.

- Conduct regular compliance tasks, including managing social security reporting and tax filings.


Audit and Compliance

- Provide essential documentation and insights to support both internal and external audit requests.

- Ensure all payroll processes strictly adhere to Australian labor laws and regulations.


Employee Support

- Address and resolve employee queries related to payroll, tax deductions, and benefits in a timely manner.

- Offer clear guidance and support to employees on all payroll-related issues.


Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

- Work closely with HR and finance teams to streamline and optimize payroll processes.

- Identify opportunities and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy continuously.


Required Skills

- 7-12 years of demonstrable experience in payroll processing, specifically with a focus on Australian payroll.

- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP ECP (Employee Central Payroll).

- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, tax regulations, and social security reporting requirements.

- Proficiency in generating and analyzing payroll reports, including gross-to-net and variance reports.

- Proven ability to support internal and external audits by providing accurate payroll data and documentation.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations and data validation.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle employee queries and collaborate with various teams.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

- Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements in payroll operations.
