Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead multiple large-scale, complex, and specialized competency-based projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring delivery excellence, driving strategic and tactical project management, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role requires a combination of leadership, technical acumen, and stakeholder management skills to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Delivery Management:
- Manage multiple large-scale, complex customer projects with a focus on delivery responsibility and excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies aligned with organizational goals and project objectives.
- Ensure timely completion of programs within budget and scope, maintaining quality and functionality standards.
- Create and maintain program-level dashboards to monitor project progress and performance.
- Oversee contract management, ensuring profitability and adherence to contractual terms across projects.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Interface with customers at a strategic level, addressing current and forecasted project needs proactively.
- Contribute to relationship management, influencing customer perception positively and driving account growth.
- Ensure customer feedback processes are completed on time, and issues are addressed promptly.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Provide overall guidance and mentorship to project teams, promoting teamwork, motivation, and professional growth.
- Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of strategies.
- Ensure skill development and certification for team members as needed.
- Act as a technical mentor and coach, assessing and developing team capabilities across multiple levels.
- Manage conflicts effectively and maintain a high-performing, cohesive team environment.
Process Improvement & Knowledge Management:
- Lead organization-wide initiatives such as knowledge sharing, innovation, and process improvements.
- Ensure best practices are documented and integrated into standard operating procedures.
- Oversee post-project reviews and knowledge management activities, ensuring lessons learned are captured and applied.
Thought Leadership & Brand Building:
- Provide thought leadership in professional networks and contribute to the organizations brand positioning.
- Align cross-functional teams to create an effective value chain for customers.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Mandatory Skills: Appian Advanced - 3
- Strong experience in delivery management of large-scale and complex projects.
- Proven ability in strategic planning, tactical execution, and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience with the ability to manage multi-level teams.
- Experience in contract and profitability management.
