Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Sales Manager to drive our General Trade channel for the Retail Sales division. This role carries full P&L responsibility and requires a strong focus on sales execution, distribution expansion, team development, and financial hygiene. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep market understanding and a passion for operational excellence. This opportunity is with an FMCG giant with global topline of over 20 billion euros with over 25 years of presence in India. Qualifications: As an ideal candidate, you are an MBA from a premier institute with 10 to 15 years of experience in FMCG sales. You have a proven track record of success handling South of India as a sales head with excellent communication skills, analytical and financial acumen. Through this role you get to witness the growth of a globally established 149 year old German multinational conglomerate in India. Your responsibilities will be : I. Strategic Responsibilities - Own and drive the Go-To-Market strategy for General Trade across regions - Lead sales and distribution initiatives with strong local engagement and on-ground messaging. - Expand outlet coverage aligned with brand-specific GTM plans - Ensure operational excellence through process standardization and performance tracking II. Team & Network Development - Build and manage a high-performing team of BDMs, BDEs, and Sales Officers - Develop and scale a Beauty Advisor network across key markets - Conduct regular training and capability-building programs III. Market Planning & Review - Conduct market-wise and channel-wise business reviews - Use data-driven insights to refine strategy and drive growth IV. Financial Accountability - Drive market and distributor recovery initiatives - Maintain cost-to-sales efficiency for field manpower and BTL activities - Ensure financial hygiene and compliance across channel partners
