Helium is a new-age consumer air conditioning brand focused on energy efficiency, intelligent optimization, and solving real consumer cooling problems.

Founded by IIT Kanpur alumni and funded by one of India's top tier VC funds, we are now building our founding team.

Role Overview

We are looking for a rockstar Chief Brand Marketing Officer to define how the brand is discovered, perceived and preferred in the market. This is a leadership role responsible for turning Helium's product innovation into a powerful brand narrative and ensuring that every customer touchpoint consistently reinforces what Helium stands for.

As a CBMO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing Helium's branding and marketing strategies which includes, but is not limited to:

- Building Helium's brand voice and visual world

- Leading our content, social, and storytelling engine

- Crafting pre-launch & launch campaigns

- Shaping how India discovers and loves Helium

At Helium, brand isn't a layer - it's the core of how we build trust, spark emotion, and stand apart in a crowded category. As the Chief Brand Marketing Officer, you won't just shape campaigns; you'll shape how India thinks, feels, and talks about thermal comfort.

You will define the soul of the brand as Helium is being built from zero. The brand's voice, visual language, tone, narrative, and identity - these become your canvas. What you create here will be impactful for years.

You translate complex technology into human emotion - We're solving deep consumer pain points. Your job will be to turn engineering, science, and design into stories that move people

You shape how customers perceive an entire category - Comfort, aspiration, quality of life - these are universal. The way Helium is positioned will influence consumer expectations across an entire industry. Your work becomes Helium's competitive edge - Your creativity and strategic thinking will directly shape customer trust, loyalty, premium perception, word-of-mouth and brand equity.

Who Are You

Important - Experience: 4-7 years in brand strategy/marketing/creative direction, ideally in a D2C or consumer brand- Demonstrated experience in building or scaling a consumer brand from early stages

Very important:

- Has strong storytelling instincts and turns complex product features into human narratives

- Is deeply familiar with modern social platforms and understands how to build brands natively on them

- Has strong design taste and high bar for visual craft (not necessarily a designer, but highly intentional)

- Is comfortable working in a fast- paced, experimental startup environment and collaborating across functions.

Most important:

- Loves zero- to- one brand building and is energized by white- space opportunities

- Is hungry for growth by crazy execution
