Also, check our IG page, discover.pilgrim Designation : General Manager/ Associate Director/ Director/ Senior Director/AVP Supply Chain & Procurement (Depending on Experience) ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall - Lead end to end Supply Chain for the business across warehousing & transportation, procurement and planning function - Create and drive supply chain strategy and communications, deliver strategic objectives and oversee materials management activities, including Demand Planning, Buying, Material Flow, Distribution, Logistics and Customer Service operations Procurement - Evaluate purchase performance against established metrics and expectations - Achieve targeted delivery lead times while minimizing working capital investment Customer Support - Work with the customer support team to resolve any delivery issues to customers Cost Control - Manage process for creating and maintaining cost benchmarks Risk Management - Identification of potential risks in the supply side from the perspective of capacity and seasonal bottlenecks and take appropriate actions to mitigate the risks Commercial & Vendor Management - Set expectations so that contracts, in/out sourcing objectives and initiatives, purchasing, and materials planning are met - Manage approved supplier base Warehousing & Logistics - Create strategies focusing on timely delivery to customers, reduce RTO & bring down costs - Ensure planning & fulfilment to marketplaces/ channel partners is done on time
