Key focus:

- In pursuit of continuous improvement and to match our exponential growth, Finance has embarked on a digital transformation journey to build a scalable Finance function. To support this effort, we are looking for a leader who will be responsible to transform Finance processes via automation and standardization.

- This leader will be focussed on eliminating manual work and improving processes by identifying and implementing state-of-the-art technology to support Procure to Pay operations and Statutory Compliance.


- They will also be expected to support other Finance processes as we progress through our transformation journey.

Responsibilities:

Accounting:

- Handling entire purchase-to-pay cycle of the company.

- Monitoring the day-to-day accounting and ensuring accuracy & completeness of AP ledgers.

- Ensure a tight control on outstanding and overdue payments

- Review of Monthly Financials and ensuring timely closure

- Align, deliver, and report progress on key process KPIs

- Preparing monthly MIS and Investor Reports

- Analytical review of monthly P&L/P&L Variance analysis and commentaries.

- Independently handle Statutory and internal audits, Liaison with external consultants.

- Improving processes and establishing SoP's

- Implementing initiatives whether self-identified or by the other members of the Company.

Taxation:

- Ensuring 100% compliance with Government Regulations particularly Indirect Taxation.

- Creation / revision of internal company policies in line with statutory updates.

- Ensuring proper deduction of TDS and timely payment.

- Filing of TDS/TCS quarterly returns and revising returns.

- Responding to queries received from teams pertaining to TDS/TCS deduction.

- Calculation of GST payable on various services (Outward and RCM Liability).

- Preparation and filing of monthly GST returns (GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B).

- Calculation of Input Tax credit and preparation of ITC Register.

- Monthly GST reconciliation.

- Attending to departmental enquiries, filing replies & handling Direct & Indirect Tax Assessments.

Requirements:

- 0-2 years for a CA in a Midsized company/startup with good Articleship experience.

- Hands on experience on Zoho books, GST and TDS return filing.

- Well versed with MS- Excel.

- Experience in service Industry/Big 4 would be an added advantage.

- Able to create value using good business judgment.

- Strong results orientation - is able to focus and deliver results.

Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka with 3 days of work from office.
