Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Growth & Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth roadmap for Instagram & YouTube aligned with brand goals.
- Drive subscriber/follower growth, impressions, watch time, repeat viewership, and engagement.
- Define monthly and quarterly KPI targets across both platforms.
- Build scalable strategies for organic growth and paid amplification.
Content Strategy & Planning:
- Lead the end-to-end content strategy, including editorial planning, content pillars, posting cadence, and performance benchmarks.
- Provide creative direction for content formats like Reels, Shorts, long-form videos, carousels, thumbnails, community posts, and stories.
- Identify trending topics, viral formats, and audience interest patterns.
Performance Marketing & Optimization:
- Optimize content for platform algorithms using strong understanding of SEO, hashtags, keywords, and retention analytics.
- Run A/B tests on thumbnails, titles, hooks, CTAs, and posting times.
- Collaborate with paid media teams to boost high-performing content where required.
Influencer & Creator Partnerships:
- Identify and engage with influencers, creators, YouTubers, and niche communities for collaborations.
- Manage end-to-end influencer campaigns: outreach, negotiation, briefs, execution, and performance analysis.
Analytics, Reporting & Insights:
- Create detailed weekly/monthly analytics reports covering growth, reach, engagement, retention, and revenue (if monetized).
- Use insights to refine content strategy and optimize for audience behavior and preferences.
- Monitor competitor channels and industry trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with design, creative, video production, content writers, product, and brand marketing teams.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across platforms.
- Participate in planning for product launches, campaigns, and major announcements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 710 years of experience in social media growth, digital marketing, or content strategy, with proven success scaling Instagram & YouTube channels.
Deep knowledge of:
- Instagram & YouTube algorithms
- Video storytelling & content hooks
- Community building
- Paid social amplification
- SEO for social platforms
- Experience working with influencers, managing agencies, and overseeing content production teams.
- Strong analytical skills with command over tools like YouTube Studio, Meta Insights, Google Analytics, TubeBuddy, vidIQ, etc.
- High creativity, trend sensitivity, and understanding of Gen-Z & Millennial content behavior.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in working with consumer brands, creators, D2C, EdTech, or entertainment industries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
