Head/Vice President/COO - Operations - Textile Technology

Role & responsibilities:

- Responsible for end-to-end operational management of the organization. The position focuses on driving operational excellence, efficiency, and scalable growth across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and compliance functions.

- The role works closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to translate business strategy into execution, ensuring productivity improvement, cost optimization, and strong operational performance.

Key Highlights:

- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with business goals.

- Operations Oversight: Manage manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and quality functions across locations.

- Process Improvement: Drive automation, lean practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Financial Management: Control budgets, optimize costs, and improve profitability.

- Team Leadership: Lead senior teams, build high-performance culture, and develop leadership pipeline.

- Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and quality standards.

- Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs like productivity, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Must be a BE/ B. Tech in Textile Technology / Textile Engineering plus MBA or advanced management qualification preferred

- 18-20+ years of experience in operations

- 5+ years in a senior leadership role (VP/COO/Head of Operations)

- Strong exposure to Textile / Garments / Apparel / Apparel exports Industry.

- Proven ability to manage large, multi-location operations

- Strong skills in strategy, cost management, and team leadership
