A senior leadership opportunity within a leading global financial services organisation, seeking an experienced workplace and facilities leader to head up Workplace Solutions for India. This role owns the administration and operational excellence of office sites, service delivery and vendor management, operating within a matrix structure alongside global leadership.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead workplace strategy and delivery for a growing India operation, combining hands-on operational ownership with strategic property, vendor and stakeholder management.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Leading, developing and mentoring the local Workplace Solutions team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

- Engaging with local senior leadership and acting as the primary in-country contact for landlords, local authorities, industry bodies and external delivery partners.

- Supporting the development of the India property strategy and managing property acquisition, leasing and disposal, in alignment with global strategy.

- Owning the delivery of all workplace services and managing third-party vendor contracts, including performance reviews and compliance audits.

- Managing all workplace and facilities budgets, ensuring compliance with financial processes including Quarterly Business Reviews and variance reporting.

- Owning the India Risk and Controls process and ensuring compliance with local regulations, statutory requirements and company policies.

- Leading local response to workplace incidents, emergencies and crises, ensuring robust incident management plans are in place.

- Driving change management initiatives, automation and the use of digital tools and data analytics to improve operational efficiency.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Established experience leading corporate facilities for a multinational organisation, ideally with multi-site operations.

- Demonstrable experience managing office moves, relocations and leading change management across business and user groups.

- Strong project and change management skills, with excellent communication ability.

- Proven experience managing multi-vendor FM services and workplace safety.

- Excellent partnership, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

- Strong commercial sense, financial modelling and business case development experience.

- Experience acquiring/disposing of space, setting up new offices and managing landlord/tenant relationships, with proficiency in vendor auditing and compliance enforcement.

- Experience working in a matrix reporting structure across diverse, multicultural environments.

- Relevant academic qualification (Real Estate, MBA, Accountancy, Engineering or Facility Management); IWFM, RICS, CIoB or CIBSE membership (or international equivalent) preferred.
