Position Overview: This person will be responsible for overseeing and managing a high-net-worth client portfolio, providing personalized financial strategies, and offering comprehensive wealth management services. This individual will act as a trusted advisor, delivering expert advice across financial planning, investment management, estate planning, tax strategy, and other wealth-related services to ensure clients' financial goals are met. This person will collaborate with a team of specialists, including financial analysts, estate planners, and tax advisors, to provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, understanding their financial needs, goals, and objectives.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive and personalized advice to help them manage their wealth effectively.

- Deliver exceptional client service to ensure client retention and satisfaction.

2. Financial Planning and Strategy:

- Develop and implement comprehensive wealth management strategies based on clients' unique financial goals and risk tolerance.

- Provide expert advice on investment portfolios, retirement planning, estate planning, tax strategies, and charitable giving.

- Assist clients with long-term planning and wealth preservation, adjusting strategies as needed in response to market changes, life events, or client objectives.

3. Investment Management:

- Construct and manage diversified investment portfolios for clients, aligned with their financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.

- Stay informed on market trends, economic factors, and investment opportunities to provide timely recommendations to clients.

- Oversee and regularly review clients' investment performance, making adjustments as necessary to optimize returns.

4. Team Collaboration and Leadership:

- Work closely with internal specialists (e.g., financial planners, tax advisors, estate planners) to deliver comprehensive wealth management services.

- Lead and mentor junior wealth managers and support staff, offering guidance and professional development opportunities.

- Foster a collaborative, client-first approach within the team.

Skills and Competencies:

- Identify new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with potential clients, centres of influence, and professional networks.

- Actively participate in business development initiatives, including networking events, seminars, and presentations to enhance the firm's presence and reputation in the wealth management space.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, policies, and industry best practices.

- Proactively manage risk and safeguard clients' interests, including adhering to fiduciary standards in all client interactions and recommendations.

- Provide regular updates and reports to clients on the performance of their portfolios and financial plans.

- Ensure all client documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry regulations.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

- CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or similar professional designation preferred.

- Minimum of 12 -15 years of experience in wealth management or a related financial services field, with proven experience managing high- net-worth clients.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build trust with high-net-worth individuals.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and provide actionable insights.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to working with teams.

- In-depth knowledge of tax planning, estate planning, and retirement strategies.

- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.

Certifications: CFP, CFA, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
