Head - Warehouse Operations

Job Description:

- We are looking for a seasoned Head of Warehouse Operations to lead and optimize large-scale warehousing and distribution functions across multiple locations. The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, cost optimization, process standardization, and service-level improvements while managing large teams and complex supply chain operations.

- The incumbent will work closely with supply chain, procurement, transportation, and business leadership to ensure seamless end-to-end warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end warehouse operations across multiple facilities, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and reverse logistics

- Develop and implement warehouse strategy aligned with overall supply chain and business goals

- Drive productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization through process improvements, automation, and best practices

- Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory compliance, and internal SOPs

- Monitor and improve KPIs such as inventory accuracy, OTIF, turnaround time, space utilization, and cost per unit

- Manage large teams including warehouse managers, supervisors, and third-party partners

- Oversee implementation and effective use of WMS, ERP, and reporting dashboards

- Lead capacity planning, manpower planning, and peak-season readiness

- Coordinate with procurement, transportation, and sales teams for smooth demand fulfillment

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S) across warehouse operations
