Role Overview:

As the Head-Warehouse and Logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, distribution, and transportation for Trident Group's facilities in Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. You will lead a team of logistics professionals, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from manufacturing to customers. This role requires close collaboration with production, sales, procurement, and finance teams to optimize the supply chain and meet customer demands. Your leadership will be critical in driving continuous improvement in logistics processes and maintaining high levels of service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize warehouse operations, inventory levels, and transportation costs for the Punjab and Madhya Pradesh locations.

- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

- Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counting, stocktaking, and reconciliation, to minimize discrepancies and prevent stockouts.

- Negotiate contracts with transportation providers and freight forwarders to secure competitive rates and reliable service.

- Monitor transportation operations, including route planning, delivery scheduling, and tracking, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

- Manage vendor relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and contract compliance.

- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures in the warehouse and transportation operations to ensure a safe working environment.

- Analyze logistics data and generate reports to identify trends, track performance, and recommend improvements.

- Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including customs, transportation, and safety regulations.

Required Skillset:

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management, distribution, and transportation. Proven skills in negotiating contracts with transportation providers and freight forwarders. Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
