About the Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping, launching, and managing investment products (mutual funds, PMS/AIF) across equity and debt. Youll connect market insights to product innovation, lead go-to-market planning, and ensure regulatory complianceall while delivering investor-first outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Definition

- Design and define features, terms, and positioning of both new and existing products.

- Develop compelling sales pitches and collateral to support multiple channels.

2. Regulatory Management & Compliance

- Coordinate product filings, regulatory approvals, and compliance documentation.

- Prepare and maintain detailed reports and dashboards.

3. Market Research & Intelligence

- Track domestic and global financial product trends, fund launches, and competitive benchmarking.

- Identify market opportunities and consumer gaps in equity and debt.

4. New Product Development & Launch Execution

- Collaborate with fund managers and research teams to plan and launch products.

- Manage internal and external stakeholder coordination to deliver market-ready products.

5. Sales Enablement & Channel Engagement

- Align with business heads to tailor products for specific distribution channels.

- Support regional or smaller partners with training and marketing resources.

6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Analyze AUM movement, investor behavior trends (SIPs, fund flows), and product performance vs peers.

- Provide insights and reporting to management and board-level committees.

7. Communications & Content Development

- Create product-related materials such as one-pagers, presentations, outlooks, and campaign content.

- Support investor education initiatives and marketing campaigns.

8. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with digital, front-office, marketing, HR, and L&D teams.

- Serve as a bridge to empower internal teams for successful product delivery.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong research and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.

- Excellent verbal and written communication; adept at crafting polished materials.

- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (macros desirable), PowerPoint, and MIS platforms.

- Ability to thrive under pressure, multi-task, and take initiative.

- In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks for investment products.

- Familiarity with investor education programs, as well as PMS/AIF platforms (advantageous).

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Minimum postgraduate degree in Finance.

Experience: 1315 years in the financial services industry, preferably in mutual funds, PMS, AIF product roles.
