Role Overview:
As the Head - Venue Sales, based in Mumbai, you will spearhead the sales strategy and execution for our premier venue, driving revenue growth and establishing it as the preferred choice for corporate events, weddings, and social gatherings. You will lead a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring exceptional client experiences. This role involves close collaboration with the marketing, event management, and operations teams to deliver seamless and memorable events. Your efforts will directly impact the venue's profitability, brand reputation, and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize venue utilization for corporate and event clients.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to enhance their capabilities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, event planners, and industry influencers to generate leads and secure repeat business.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to contract negotiation and event execution, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns and promotional materials to increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in venue offerings and sales strategies.
- Manage the sales budget effectively, tracking expenses, and optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights to senior management.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies in the event management or hospitality industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Strong understanding of corporate sales, event management sales, and marketing principles.

- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
