About the Role:

A leading multinational manufacturing group is looking for an experienced treasury professional to lead its Treasury & Banking function. The role will be responsible for managing group-wide cash, liquidity, banking relationships, debt portfolio, foreign exchange risk, and treasury governance across multiple domestic and international operations.

This leadership position offers an opportunity to drive treasury strategy, optimize working capital, strengthen banking partnerships, and support ongoing international expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash & Liquidity Management:

- Establish and maintain a consolidated view of cash positions across multiple entities and banking partners.

- Drive short-term and long-term cash forecasting processes.

- Manage liquidity planning, multi-currency cash operations, and intercompany funding activities.

- Ensure efficient deployment of cash resources while maintaining adequate liquidity levels.

Working Capital Management:

- Partner with business and finance teams to improve cash conversion and working capital efficiency.

- Monitor receivables, payables, and inventory funding requirements.

- Drive initiatives focused on releasing cash from operational cycles.

Banking & Funding:

- Manage relationships with domestic and international banking institutions.

- Oversee debt facilities, refinancing initiatives, covenant compliance, and borrowing structures.

- Evaluate and implement banking solutions to support business growth and geographic expansion.

- Optimize funding costs and capital structures.

Foreign Exchange Risk Management:

- Develop and implement foreign exchange risk management strategies.

- Monitor multi-currency exposures and execute approved hedging programs.

- Manage transaction and translation risks associated with international business operations.

- Support treasury planning for cross-border funding and capital movements.

Treasury Governance & Controls:

- Maintain treasury policies, operating procedures and control frameworks.

- Ensure compliance with internal governance standards and external regulatory requirements.

- Support audit reviews and treasury reporting requirements.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop treasury team members.

- Drive operational excellence within treasury and banking functions.

- Build scalable treasury processes to support future business growth.

Requirements:

- 10 to 15 years of post-qualification experience.

- Minimum 6 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Banking or related functions.

- Strong expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.

- Hands-on experience in foreign exchange exposure management and hedging strategies.

- Proven experience in debt management, banking relationships, and covenant monitoring.

- Exposure to multi-entity and multi-country treasury environments preferred.

- Experience supporting international operations, cross-border funding, and global banking relationships will be an added advantage.

- Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or process industries preferred.
