Roles and Responsibilities:
Fund Raising:
- Preparation and execution of application and various requirement of lenders for arranging the funds through Banks / NBFCs / NCDs.
- Interaction and negotiating with bankers / investors for executing the transaction timely within the COF indication.
- Reviewing and finalization of borrowing documents and ensuring timely disbursement.
- Analyzing and preparing the documents and other documents required for successful closure of the proposal in banks. Preparing Information Memorandum and Teaser notes, financial models.
Debt Management:
- Timely repayment of all debt obligations & Debt or liability repayment confirmations/follow up for any overdue reporting.
- Covenant tracking for various lenders.
- Monthly/Quarterly/Half yearly/Annual reporting to investors/lenders/other stakeholders.
- Manage due diligence by lenders, provide information about the company in a precise, compelling manner on a timely basis.
- Managing the Stock audits of the lenders by coordinating with the various internal Stakeholders.
Co-Lending & Strategic Partnerships:
- Lead co-lending initiatives with Banks and Financial Institutions to support business expansion.
- Manage end-to-end execution of co-lending arrangements from onboarding to implementation and product go-live.
- Ensure timely submission of MIS, portfolio reports, and compliance reports to partner institutions.
- Monitor operational efficiency and profitability of co-lending partnerships.
Treasury Operations & Liquidity Management:
- Monitor daily cash flow, liquidity position, and working capital requirements.
- Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Optimize utilization of banking limits and treasury resources.
- Manage surplus funds through appropriate investment strategies while ensuring liquidity.
- Monitor interest rate movements and recommend suitable borrowing and investment strategies.
- Develop policies for treasury risk management, including liquidity, refinancing, and interest rate risks.
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements.
- Ensure accuracy of General Ledger, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Companies Act, RBI guidelines, and other statutory requirements.
- Lead month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Business Analysis:
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze financial variances.
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and business expansion.
- Prepare profitability analysis and business performance reports for senior management and the Board.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, RBI regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Oversee timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory submissions.
- Manage tax assessments, departmental notices, and compliance audits.
- Implement effective tax planning strategies within the regulatory framework.
Audit & Internal Controls:
- Lead Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit, Secretarial Audit, and regulatory inspections.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Develop and monitor financial risk management practices.
MIS & Financial Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports and financial dashboards.
- Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports to senior management and the Board.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for treasury and finance functions.
- Drive automation and process improvements in financial reporting.
J. Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, Investors, Rating Agencies, Auditors, Regulators, Trustees, and Government Authorities.
- Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders including Operations, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Legal, HR, IT, and Business teams.
- Support fundraising, strategic initiatives, Board presentations, and investor relations.
K. Team Leadership & Governance:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Treasury, Finance, and Accounts teams.
- Establish robust financial policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
- Drive digital transformation and automation within finance and treasury operations.
- Ensure high standards of ethics, compliance, and financial discipline across the organization.
