Head - Transport & Logistics Operations

- We are handling an exciting and challenging opportunity for the role of Head of Transportation & Logistics operations with a leading Logistics company.

- He / She will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a company's last-mile delivery operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

- Key duties include managing delivery networks, optimizing warehouse and fleet operations, managing budgets, developing and implementing process improvements, handling stakeholder relationships, and driving team performance and customer experience.

- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for logistics operations.

- Participate in bidding processes and manage costs with vendors, such as transporters and 3PLs.

- Collaborate with internal teams like finance, customer service, and product teams to ensure seamless operations.

- Work to enhance customer service quality and resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction.

- Ensure all teams adhere to defined process SOPs and standards.

- Must have handled large distributed team across regions.

- Serve as a point of escalation for customer issues, ensuring resolution within committed timeframes.

- Implement process improvements and automation to enhance performance.

- Oversee daily last-mile delivery and warehouse operations, including inbound/outbound transportation.

- Experience in operations management and stakeholder management; strong leadership and people management skills

- Lead a team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project delivery; manage escalations and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

- MBA from a reputed Institute would be preferred.

- Minimum 15 - 20 years of experience required.
