
This role will have regional leadership of the following functions within Enterprise Technology covering Monitoring Platforms, Middleware, Networks, APIs Strategy, Cloud Platforms, backup and recovery systems, and Disaster Recovery (DR), IT Infrastructure Management and Cloud Computing
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain a skilled and engaged workforce to support Enterprise technology operations and change, including a flexible and cost-effective workforce strategy.
- Support the movement of workload, owning the local outcomes and quality of delivery
- Develop and track a financial plan to meet budget for major financial categories: personnel; training; overtime for these functions
- Manage major vendor relationships and contracts to achieve best value and hold vendors to account for service levels.
- Staff engagement, development, training and coaching including the effective management of non-performing staff.
Work with Global stakeholders to define and execute workforce strategy
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the synthesizing of complex and varied data sources for monitoring/reporting the operational performance of technology systems, cyber threats, fraud events and payments operational processing.
- Collaborate with Senior Leaders across Enterprise Technology, Group Security, Risk, Corporate Communications, Fraud and Payments to develop operational monitoring and real time response systems. Work with T&EO architecture teams to design and implement data models and rationalize tooling across the Incident Management Domains related to real time data
- The role must align with the published Major Incidents Response Framework and any strategic decisions from the Chief Architect, Technology and Security Officers.
