
Technology Strategy & Architecture
- Develop and execute the organization's technology strategy and long-term architectural roadmap.
- Lead modernization of core systems into scalable, secure, and cloud-ready architectures.
- Establish technology standards, frameworks, and governance across engineering and IT teams.
Engineering & Delivery Excellence
- Lead engineering, architecture, QA, and DevOps functions for timely, high-quality delivery of technology initiatives.
- Implement modern development practices including CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and agile ways of working.
- Ensure stability, performance, and continuous improvement of all technology platforms.
Internal IT Ownership
- Oversee internal IT infrastructure, networks, endpoint management, enterprise applications, and service delivery.
- Ensure systems uptime, resilience, disaster recovery readiness, and adherence to SLAs.
- Drive cost-effective operations, IT process efficiency, and continuous optimization of internal IT services.
Security, Compliance & Risk
- Strengthen information security posture, data protection, and technology governance across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with industry-relevant standards, internal audit requirements, and
regulatory expectations.
- Implement secure coding, DevSecOps, and proactive monitoring practices.
Leadership & Organization Building
- Lead all Technology & IT team leads, building a high-performance culture and strong
succession pipeline.
- Attract, mentor, and retain top engineering and IT talent.
- Drive collaboration with business, finance, operations, and other functions to align
technology with organizational priorities. Vendor & Partner Engagement
- Evaluate and manage strategic technology vendors, cloud partners, and implementation partners.
- Lead decision-making on technology investments, contracts, and solution architecture with external providers.
- 3-5 years of experience as CTO / Head of Engineering / Technology Leader in a technology-driven organization.
- Proven experience leading large-scale platform modernization, including migration from legacy systems to modern architectures (e.g., re-engineering core systems, LOS/LMS or equivalent workflow/transaction systems).
- Strong understanding of modern architecture including microservices, cloud-native design, event-driven systems, and scalable distributed platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of engineering practices such as DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure code, and secure development practices.
- Experience managing both engineering and internal IT teams, covering application development, infrastructure, networks, and IT service delivery.
