Head - Technology & IT Governance - Banking

About the Role:

A leading Bank is seeking a Head Technology & IT to lead enterprise technology strategy, Core Banking Systems, digital banking platforms, cybersecurity governance, technology risk management, and regulatory compliance. The role will be responsible for building a secure, scalable, resilient technology ecosystem aligned with RBI regulations while supporting business growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute the bank's technology strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Own Core Banking Systems and all mission-critical technology platforms.

- Lead technology architecture, infrastructure, cloud, network, and platform modernization initiatives.

- Drive IT governance, technology risk management, cybersecurity, resilience, and business continuity frameworks.

- Oversee digital banking platforms, API ecosystems, fintech integrations, and emerging technology adoption.

- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, audit requirements, vendor governance, and regulatory reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 15 - 25 years of technology leadership experience within banking or financial services.

- Strong hands-on experience managing Core Banking Systems (CBS) in a regulated banking environment.

- Proven expertise in RBI IT governance, cybersecurity, technology risk, and regulatory compliance.

- Experience leading large-scale digital banking, cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture programs.

- Demonstrated ability to engage with Boards, regulators, auditors, and senior leadership teams.

- Must be willing to work from Noida on a full-time basis.
