
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical evaluations (site visits, property valuations, legal-verification coordination) for both self-constructed and builder properties under affordable HL & LAP segments.
- Manage a team of Technical Associates/Manager across the region; ensure productivity, TAT adherence, and policy compliance.
- Review and approve property valuation reports for retail loan proposals as per internal guidelines and RBI standards.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks by scrutinizing land titles, construction quality, approvals, and deviation issues.
- Coordinate with empanelled valuers, legal agencies, and builders for accurate, timely, and unbiased reports.
- Support the credit underwriting team in assessing the technical feasibility of secured loan proposals.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct sample back-checks to ensure authenticity and accuracy of property appraisals.
- Provide regular training to branch teams on technical red flags, documentation, and approval norms.
- Work closely with Risk, Legal, Credit, and Operations to ensure end-to-end case lifecycle efficiency.
- Track market trends in construction costs, local municipal approvals, and legal developments affecting collateral risk.
- Facilitate internal audits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure complete documentation in line with internal audit & compliance expectations.
