Role Purpose:

Own Teacher Training (TT) as a business and product category. Build and scale a differentiated teacher-development offering anchored in baseline assessment of scholastic, pedagogical and behavioural dimensions, followed by targeted learning/development, reassessment and progress tracking. Apply the programme across the core programme, state education departments, NGOs/CSR initiatives and individual teachers. Combine teacher/school understanding with product development, institutional sales to schools/school groups/governments, international partnerships and end-to-end customer relationships. Secure endorsement from credible institutions, government certifying agencies and academicians; deliver targeted revenue and contribution margin. Build a scalable business through trusted relationships with school leaders, teachers and government bureaucrats.

Scope & Key Responsibilities:

- Commercial: Own school, institutional and direct-to-teacher sales strategy, pipeline, partnerships, pricing, conversion and renewal; build relationships with principals, school owners, academic leaders, teachers and bureaucrats; develop scalable acquisition channels.

- Product: Own TT proposition and roadmap; integrate assessment across scholastic/pedagogical/behavioural dimensions with targeted pathways; define assessment - diagnosis - intervention - practice - reassessment - progress journey; package for individual teachers, schools, school groups and institutions; translate needs into priorities; work with Academic, Assessment, Technology, Analytics and Design; run structured experiments and use evidence to scale/modify/stop.

- Customer & Community: Understand teacher needs, motivations, barriers and willingness to pay; build teacher/teacher-leader relationships; use feedback to improve product; enable advocacy, referrals, peer learning/community; identify high-value segments/use cases.

- Sales: Build/manage qualified school, school-group and institutional pipeline; lead strategic conversations; develop propositions, proposals, pilots, pricing and contracting models; convert engagements to recurring relationships; build repeatable sales/account management and coach acquisition/delivery colleagues.

- Delivery & Scale: Customize workshops, coaching, digital learning and implementation support; own quality/scalability with Delivery and Acquisition; define trainer/facilitator standards, playbooks, assessment protocols and QA; ensure assessment translates into meaningful development and measurable progress; reduce manual dependence and ensure consistency across schools/cohorts.

- Leadership: Operate as CEO senior-management team member; contribute to growth and financial stability; build ownership, experimentation, customer obsession and commercial discipline; develop TT team with clear accountability for product, sales and delivery.

Non-Negotiables:

Every school opportunity has a clear problem, buyer, value proposition, decision process and commercial pathway. Product must demonstrate value beyond one-off workshops and create repeat/recurring engagement. Segment must generate positive contribution margin and remain working-capital positive. Programmes require facilitator standards, reusable assets, QA and measurable outcomes; continuously reduce unnecessary manual dependence without compromising learning quality.

Required Profile:

15 - 20 years in teacher development, EdTech, school solutions, professional learning or related fields; proven education-product/service sales to schools and direct work with school leaders/teachers; deep teacher training/development, pedagogy, academic leadership or school-improvement experience; built/launched/scaled teacher/school product, programme or offering; product-development exposure across customer discovery, proposition, journeys, pilots, requirements, iteration and scale; strong teacher-assessment/pedagogical/behavioural or leadership understanding; critical start-up experience and comfort with ambiguity, limited resources and high ownership; strong commercial judgement, negotiation, facilitation, communication and relationship-building; entrepreneurial track record; strong people leadership and CEO-level senior-management orientation.

First 6 Months:

Establish market for differentiated, assessment-led TT proposition; demonstrate repeatable institutional sales model with schools/school groups; build scalable delivery model with trainer/facilitator standards and reusable assets; evidence that assessment leads to targeted development and measurable progress; build strong TT team and operating rhythm beyond founder-led delivery; become core senior-management member contributing to company strategy, prioritization and growth.
