Role Description:

The Head of Taxation in Real Estate will oversee and manage tax-related strategies, compliance, and planning within the realm of property management and commercial real estate. Key responsibilities include managing tax operations, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and analyzing opportunities for tax-saving measures. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru that requires strong leadership and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet organizational financial objectives.

Qualifications:

- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Finance, taxation processes, and regulatory compliance.

- Expertise in Property Management, with a strong understanding of taxation nuances related to property transactions.

- Solid grounding in Commercial Real Estate and Real Estate financial operations relevant to taxation.

- Familiarity with Facility Management (FM) practices and their impact on tax-related matters is an advantage.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CA qualification or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

- Ability to lead teams effectively and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

- Proficiency in financial software tools and tax reporting systems is a plus.
