Headquartered out of the US they are present in almost all major economies worldwide. They have pan-India operations spanning all major cities with multiple manufacturing facilities. The role is based out of their corporate office in Gurgaon  Job Description  Reporting into the CFO, you will lead a team of 15 with your key responsibilities including:  - Assist in managing local India tax controversies including administrative appeals and litigation for all locations in India (including all manufacturing plants)  - Managing all tax audits including coordination with finance and outside advisers  - Indian tax planning including developing tax-efficient business models for new and existing businesses  - Managing local India tax controversies including administrative appeals and litigation for all locations in India  - Responsible to ensure tax and regulatory compliance, including corporate income tax, service tax, transfer pricing, withholding tax, expat tax, VAT, CST and STPI/SEZ/Customs related compliance issues  - Preparing 5 year tax plans of the company while looking after all tax related matters for the Group of companies and its subsidiaries  - Attending appeals for Sales tax/ VAT / Excise related matters  - Having regular interaction with the Global tax team to coordinate for the Indian entities’ taxation matters  - Handling all potential taxation matters while the organization enters into Joint Ventures, Mergers, acquisitions and other growth plans  The Successful Applicant  You are a qualified CA with 10+ years of post-qualification work experience, with a thorough exposure to both direct and indirect tax.
