Role Overview:
The Head - Talent Management & Leadership Development will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all talent management and leadership development initiatives across the organization. This role collaborates closely with senior leadership, HR business partners, and various business units to identify talent needs, develop effective programs, and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. The ultimate goal is to build a high-performing workforce and a strong leadership pipeline that drives business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management strategy aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Design and deliver leadership development programs for all levels of management, enhancing their skills and capabilities to lead effectively.
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring fair and consistent evaluation and feedback across the organization.
- Identify and develop high-potential employees through targeted development plans, mentoring programs, and career pathing initiatives.
- Lead the design and implementation of learning and development programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee capabilities.
- Manage the talent review process, identifying key talent and succession planning needs for critical roles.
- Partner with HR business partners to provide guidance and support on talent management and leadership development initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of talent management and leadership development programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal impact.
- Manage the talent management and leadership development budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in talent management and leadership development, incorporating them into the organization's programs.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective talent management strategies.
- Proven expertise in developing and delivering leadership development programs.
- Strong understanding of performance management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development, or a related HR function.
