
Head of Talent Acquisition - GCC of a Global Leader (18-25 yrs)

- Current Leadership role in Talent Acquisition
- Talent Acquisition experience in more than one of the following- Technology, F&A, Data , Engineering & Operations COE 's

Key Result Areas:
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead a multi-layered TA organisation comprising Senior Managers and Managers, each accountable for their own teams and hiring verticals
- Set the vision, culture, and performance standards for the India TA function - building a team known for quality, speed, and stakeholder partnership
- Coach and develop TA leaders, creating a pipeline of capability within the function itself
- Drive a culture of ownership, data-led decision-making, and continuous improvement across the team
Strategic Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary TA partner to India GCC leadership - including Function & Competency heads, Finance head , and strategy team apart from HR leadership
- Navigate a matrix operating model with confidence, aligning multiple group company stakeholders with differing priorities around a cohesive India talent strategy
- Build trusted, long-term relationships across HR Business Partners, Finance, Technology, and Business leadership both in India and globally
- Represent the India TA function in global talent forums, bringing the India market perspective to the firms workforce planning conversations
Market Intelligence & Talent Advisory:
- Own the firms India's talent intelligence agenda - providing leadership with regular, actionable insights on skill availability, talent pool depth, compensation benchmarks, and competitor movement across Hyderabad and GCC firms across India
- Build and maintain compensation and skills matrices across key hiring domains - Finance, Technology, and Business Services - enabling leadership to make informed decisions on org design, location strategy, and build vs. buy
- Monitor macro trends - return-to-office dynamics, attrition patterns, emerging skill clusters, university output - and translate these into proactive talent strategies
- Position yourself as the go-to advisor for any leadership conversation that touches people, skills, or hiring in India
Employer Branding:
- Define and own the firms employer brand narrative in India - ensuring it authentically reflects the GCC's culture, ambition, and employee experience across all talent touchpoints
- Partner with Global Employer Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams to localise the brand for the India market
- Build the firm s presence across key platforms - LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Job platforms and campus channels - driving awareness and preference among target talent communities
- Champion employee advocacy and internal storytelling as tools to amplify employer brand organically
Campus Hiring:
- Design and lead campus hiring strategy when required, identifying the right institutions, programmes, and profiles aligned to GCC workforce needs
- Build Employer brand on target campuses through events, partnerships, and engagement programmes - creating a pipeline of early-career talent for Finance, Technology, and Business functions
Automation, Analytics & TA Excellence:
- Lead the automation and digital transformation agenda for the India TA function - identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve candidate experience, and increase hiring velocity through technology
- Own the TA analytics framework - defining the metrics that matter, building dashboards for leadership consumption, and using data to drive continuous improvement in hiring quality and efficiency
- Evaluate and implement AI-powered sourcing, screening, and assessment tools in partnership with global TA technology teams
- Establish governance frameworks, SLAs, and process standards that bring rigour and predictability to hiring at scale
Person Profile:
- 16-22 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 4-5 years in a senior leadership role managing multi-layered TA teams in a GCC,/ Consulting firm
- Proven ability to operate as a strategic advisor to senior business leadership - translating business context into talent strategy, and talent data into business decisions
- Demonstrated experience managing TA in a matrixed organisation -
- Strong market intelligence instincts - able to build and present compensation matrices, talent landscape analyses, and hiring trend reports that inform real decisions
- Track record of employer brand building in the India market, with an understanding of what makes a GCC employer brand distinct and credible
- Experience leading or contributing to TA automation and analytics initiatives - familiarity with AI sourcing tools, ATS optimisation, and hiring dashboards
- Executive presence and communication skills that command credibility with C-suite and global leadership
- Campus hiring experience is an advantage
