TA Head - Bulk hiring

Role Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Talent Acquisition Head to lead and govern a large recruitment team handling bulk hiring across multiple roles and locations. The role requires strong Excel and data analytics capabilities to build strategic hiring reports, drive insights, and guide decision-making. The incumbent will be responsible for recruitment strategy, execution, governance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Own and drive the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for bulk hiring requirements.
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce plans, volume hiring needs, and timelines.
- Design scalable hiring models to support rapid growth and high-volume recruitment.
Team Management & Governance:
- Lead, mentor, and govern a large TA team
- Set clear KPIs, SLAs, and productivity benchmarks for the recruitment team.
- Ensure adherence to hiring processes, compliance standards, and employer branding guidelines.
- Build capability within the team through coaching, training, and performance management.
Data, Reporting & Analytics:
- Pull, analyze, and interpret recruitment data to generate strategic insights.
Track and report metrics such as:
- Time-to-hire
- Cost-per-hire
- Source effectiveness
- Recruiter productivity
- Offer-to-join ratios
- Attrition vs hiring trends
- Present clear, actionable reports to senior stakeholders.
Bulk Hiring Execution:
- Manage high-volume hiring across frontline, junior, and mid-level roles.
- Drive sourcing strategies including job portals, referrals, vendors, campus hiring, walk-ins, and hiring drives.
- Manage vendor partnerships and recruitment agencies for scale hiring.
- Ensure timely closures without compromising quality.
Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management:
- Continuously improve recruitment processes using data and market insights.
- Forecast hiring risks and proactively recommend solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA / PGDM in HR or related field.
- Experience in start-up or fast-growing environments is a plus
- Exposure to ATS and HR analytics tools.
