The Head of Recruitment is responsible for leading and managing the full recruitment function across the organization. This role ensures the delivery of best-in-class hiring practices, strong talent pipelines, and consistent recruitment processes that meet current and future staffing needs. The Head of Recruitment works closely with business leaders to understand hiring demands, drive recruitment strategies, and build a strong employer brand in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy & Execution:

- Develop and execute high-impact recruitment strategies to meet organizational hiring needs.

- Forecast hiring requirements based on business plans and workforce planning.

- Manage high-volume, niche, and leadership hiring across departments.

Team Leadership:

- Build, lead, and mentor a team of recruiters, sourcing specialists, and coordinators.

- Set performance objectives, KPIs, and provide ongoing coaching and development.

Process Optimization:

- Design and implement standardized recruitment processes for efficiency and consistency.

- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all hiring practices.

- Leverage technology and automation to streamline hiring workflows.

Stakeholder Management:

- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on recruitment planning, market trends, and hiring challenges.

- Collaborate with HR business partners to ensure alignment of recruitment and talent strategies.

Candidate Experience & Employer Branding:

- Promote a seamless, candidate-first recruitment experience.

- Strengthen employer brand visibility through campaigns, partnerships, and events.

- Drive employee referral programs and campus hiring initiatives (if applicable).

Metrics & Reporting:

- Track, analyze, and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, and pipeline health.

- Use data insights to improve sourcing strategies and process effectiveness.

Vendor & Budget Management:

- Manage recruitment agencies, job boards, RPOs, and other third-party providers.

- Oversee the recruitment budget, ensuring cost-effective hiring solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (MBA/PGDM is a plus).

- 8-12 years of recruitment experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

- Experience leading recruitment functions in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.

- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, recruitment tools, and hiring trends.

- Familiarity with labor laws, hiring compliance, and diversity recruitment.
