Head - Supply Chain Operations - Plant

What You Will Do:

Execution:

- Manage production and supporting processes to achieve targets in safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, and productivity.

- Implement and maintain Daily Management Systems in manufacturing and supply chain to drive operational performance, including gap identification and resolution.

- Address process bottlenecks by allocating human and equipment resources and directing production teams to meet established goals.

- Ensure continuous compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

- Build annual budgets, monitor expenses, and adjust as necessary to maintain competitiveness.

Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead direct reports across logistics, manufacturing, production planning, procurement, maintenance, quality, engineering, and continuous improvement functions.

- Oversee performance management, training, development, and resolution of work-related issues.

- Coordinate hiring and training in collaboration with HR.

- Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to employees.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Sales, etc.) locally and globally for alignment and efficient communication.

- Provide strong leadership to optimize performance and drive efficiency improvements.

Continuous Improvement:

- Implement operational excellence programs in collaboration with global and functional experts to deploy lean manufacturing and foster a culture of performance.

- Deliver annual savings by eliminating inefficiencies and implementing productivity initiatives such as process improvement, logistics optimization, waste reduction, and material cost reduction.

What You Need to Have:

- 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience, including production or plant management in a global environment.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience with strong technical aptitude.

- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification preferred.

- Experience in production planning and supply chain management.

- Strong understanding of financials and budgeting.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Full professional proficiency in English.

- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (limited international travel).

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with comfort interacting with executive teams and stakeholders.

- Proven leadership ability to develop high-performing teams and influence across hierarchies.

- Ability to drive improvements in unstructured manufacturing environments.

- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement leadership experience.

- Business acumen and strategic thinking.

- Ability to attract top talent, build engaged teams, and deliver superior results.

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across global organizations.
