About the Company:
Our client with state of the art and contemporary manufacturing facilities has set up India's largest and completely integrated pre-formed waterproofing membrane manufacturing facility and manufactures PVC, TPO, TPE, HDPE. Company has attained leadership position in field of tunnel waterproofing within a short span of time and engaged in multiple tunnels projects across India.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain Management function for the group across all the factories, operating from the Delhi NCR head office.
- Drive effective operations with a team of 8-9 members, ensuring strong delegation to focus on strategic priorities.
- Overhaul existing systems, processes, and team structures wherever required to strengthen SCM efficiency.
- Negotiate discounts and drive aggressive price reduction initiatives.
- Lead spot-buying negotiations for polymers, PVC, and base chemicals/alcohols.
- Develop and onboard new vendors, including driving direct imports to diversify and strengthen the vendor portfolio.
- Create and implement an effective S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) forecast system for raw material ordering.
- Ensure effective use of Advance Licenses for cost and process optimization.
- Drive a KPI-based approach across all SCM functions.
- Act as a hands-on leader capable of driving change and aligning teams toward performance-driven outcomes.
- Target and achieve 8-10% annual price reduction.
- Leverage market and import data to benchmark competitor pricing and secure better rates.
- Collaborate with industry players to consolidate buying power and negotiate advantageous pricing for the group.
- Shift all buying processes to a pricing indexbased model linked to mother raw material pricing.
Skills & Qualification:
- Experience in Textile or Polymer Processing industries, with strong alignment to systems and processes followed in the auto sector.
- Prior experience working in a promoter-driven organization.
- Strong exposure to international sourcing and global vendor development.
- Proven ability to manage contractual negotiations with large suppliers such as Exxon.
- High attention to detail with a strong commercial and analytical mindset.
- Hands-on experience dealing with volatile raw materials like polymers.
- Proficiency in ERP systems with exposure to Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory management.
- CAPEX exposure is preferred but not mandatory.
- No logistics expertise required, as logistics is independently managed.
