Job Description:

Head Supply Chain Management:

Lead end-to-end supply chain operations for a globally respected, innovation-driven medical devices manufacturer a market leader in India with a presence across 4 states and growing international footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

- SCM strategy & leadership: Define and drive SCM strategy aligned to business growth, leading procurement, planning, logistics, and warehouse functions across locations.

- Procurement excellence: Oversee direct, indirect, and capex sourcing. Drive cost optimization via strategic sourcing, negotiations, and vendor consolidation.

- Planning & inventory: Drive demand and supply planning, S&OP alignment, optimize inventory turns, and reduce working capital lock-up.

- Logistics & distribution: Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, and distribution. Optimize freight, lead times, and import/export compliance.

- Vendor management : Build strategic supplier partnerships. Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Sales, Finance, R&D, and Projects.

- Governance & compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Drive audit readiness and risk mitigation.

- Digitalization & analytics: Drive ERP adoption, digital supply chain tools, dashboards, and KPIs. Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Material availability & OTIF service levels

- Inventory turns & working capital improvement

- Procurement cost savings (YoY)

- Logistics cost optimization

- Supplier performance (QCD metrics)

- Compliance, audit scores & risk management

- SCM process efficiency & cycle time

Required:

- Bachelor's in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business

- 18+ years in manufacturing / industrial SCM

- English proficiency

Preferred (advantage):

- MBA / PG in Operations or Supply Chain

- APICS (CSCP/CPIM), CIPS, or Six Sigma

- From regulated industries (medical devices, electronics, capital goods)

- Hindi / Tamil
